Brown also recently co-curated Quic/etake: Rodarte with Gregory Krum and Color Moves: Art and Fashion by Sonia Delaunay, both at the Cooper-Hewitt. She.is on the f'acu!ty ofthe School of Art and Design History and Theory at Parsons The New School for Design and lectures regularly at the Institute of Fine Arts at New York University. A former costume designer for theater, opera, and television, she holds an MA in Museum Studies: Costume and Textiles from the Fashion Institute of Technology.

( und hier wieder etwas zur Muse der Augen von extravagand - warm umfangen .. und manche der KünstlerInnen kennt man/frau vieleicht sogar persönlich oder kann sie gar hier im Forum finden ) Diese Buch zeigt, einen Überblick der beindruckenden Vielfältigkeit des Materials Filz im gegenwärtigen, textilen Design- & Kunstgeschehen. Das Spektrum: Eine internationale Auswahl von KünsterInnen.... ...aus Bereichen wie Mode, Bekleidung, Kopfbedeckungen, Teppich, Möbel, Schmuck , Accessoires.... auch dieses Buch ist in englischer Sprache, da es sich aber mehr um ein quallitativ hochwertiges Photo- bzw. Bilderbuch und als solches ist es wirklich empfehlenswert handelt stört dies auch hier beim "Lesen" nicht. auch der Preis scheint mir durchaus angemessen.
